It all started with a small story.
Two Entrepreneurs Garrett Camp and Travis Kalanick wait for taxis to visit meetings in Paris. They do not find any cab.
So, they finally decide to start a business. And uber become the world largest ride-hailing company.
Every success has sacrifices and barriers in the journey. Ride-hailing company solved and evolves into the Uber cab.
Uber business
To run any company needs a large amount of money. Travis sold two companies Redswoosh and Akamai Technologies for $19 million.
In June 2010, launched first ride-hailing company have the facilities to book online in San Francisco.
Ryan Graves resign as CEO post of uber and Sand Travis Kalanick become CEO. In Oct 2010 be uber raise funding of $1.25M.
Under uber, only 3 cars maintain the trip.
As the business expands uber found notice from Sanfrancisco Municipal Transportation Agency to remove cab word from the uber cab.
So finally ubes.com domain was registered.
Uber executives approach many investors for funding. He explains the business model and convenience them for funding.
In 2011, uber raised $11m from Benchmark capital & other investors.
Dec 2011, raised $37 M from Golden Sachs, Menlo Ventures. Jell Bezos.
International operation
In 2012, uber start international operations from Paris. Lyft become a competitor which provides the same service.
Aug 2013, uber raise funding from a Google venture of $125 Million and inter in India.
Next year Uber enter China. China's Didi chuxing riding company provides the same service.
Both competitors merge in 2016.

- loss of Uber ~ 2017- $4 billion, 2048- Heavy, loss 2019- $1 billion
- Uber partnership with Google and made driverless cars but fall due to accidents.
Business expansion in India.
uber come to India in 2012. Online payment runs smoothly in Paris. So uber came with another way I.e cash payment Auto Rickshaw. Uber has approx increased trips by 25%. Uber provide service in 58 cities of India.
